The line that surprises: the inspection spots your worn-out brake pads at 60,000 km, but the replacement is on you. Conversely, an engine sensor that fails after three years and 70,000 km falls under the warranty, not under the plan; the valet service stays included within the covered area.
The plan ends after five years or at 100,000 km, whichever limit is reached first. At 30,000 km a year, the 100,000 km are reached after three years and four months.
Will the valet come to your place?
For scheduled maintenance or a repair under warranty, a driver picks up your Genesis at home or at the office, leaves you a courtesy Genesis and brings yours back once the work is done. Your address must be within 50 km of driving or less of the nearest authorized Genesis distributor. In the Eastern Townships, that is Genesis Estrie, on Bourque Boulevard in Sherbrooke. * Two separate protections: a defect in the EV system is repaired under warranty; if the battery drops below 70% of its original capacity, Genesis brings it back to at least 70%.
On the basic warranty, Genesis matches Kia, Hyundai and Mitsubishi at 5 years or 100,000 km. Its advantage lies elsewhere: scheduled maintenance and the valet service come with it.

Roadside assistance and interrupted trips
- 24/7 assistance, 5 years, unlimited kilometres, in Canada and the continental United States: towing, battery boosting, flat tire, lockout.
- Interrupted trip: if a breakdown immobilizes your Genesis for 24 hours or more, more than 100 km from home, Genesis reimburses the rental, hotel, meals and transportation up to $1,000, three days at most, on a claim made within 60 days.
- Example: a Sherbrooke resident stranded for two days in Québec City gets those costs reimbursed; in Magog, assistance is still offered, but those costs are not reimbursed.
Used Genesis: what stays with the vehicle
The powertrain warranty stays with the vehicle through the second and later owners, until the end of the 5 years or 100,000 km counted from the first in-service date. A Genesis put into service in October 2023 and now at 60,000 km is therefore still covered until October 2028 or 100,000 km.
For the remaining maintenance and valet service, Genesis Estrie checks from the vehicle’s serial number. The network’s used Genesis vehicles are at Occasion Beaucage.

- Up to 20,000 km a year: you get all five years of the plan.
- At 30,000 km a year: the 100,000 km are reached after about three years and four months.
- Home outside the radius, office inside: have your Genesis picked up at the office. Otherwise, the maintenance is still paid for, but you make the trip yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Does the plan also cover electric Genesis vehicles?
Yes: it pays for the scheduled maintenance on each model’s schedule. On a GV60 or an Electrified G80, there is simply no oil change to do.
Is a Genesis EV with a dead battery towed?
Yes. Roadside assistance tows an electric vehicle that has run out of charge to the nearest charging station.
Is the valet service offered in the United States?
No: the valet service and the courtesy vehicle are offered in Canada only. Roadside assistance, however, follows you across the continental United States.
